Turning Point Brands
A designer with business instincts, which, although rare, does exist. Having started the business in a spare bedroom a decade ago, he’s passionate about his company and the brands that trust him to take care of them. His diverse background includes building and leading teams and providing results for brands on a national and global scale through branding, campaigns, and creativity. His business mantra— Always Positive, Never Satisfied— keeps him pushing teams and the work, and at home, he is proud husband to Vanessa and proud, protective poppa to Lucille. While REVERED may be red, Kevin bleeds black and gold for his beloved Pittsburgh sports teams.
In the past five years with REVERED, Sarah has established herself as an irreplaceable member of the REVERED team—a strategic marketer, high level thinker, and operational tactician— first as Project and Account Director, now as VP of Client Services. When she’s not taking care of our clients’ needs with aplomb, she’s helping traffic projects and assist with research, copyediting, and any other business needs. Hailing from the NC coast, she knows her way around beaches and boats and her two best buds in the world are her husband Adam and dog Winston.
Don’t let Jim’s boyish good looks fool you. He is no stranger to design, web, motion and technology and he brings over a decade of experience. His fearless leadership of the creative team helps keep all our projects on target while looking exceptional. Jim is a stickler for details, always thinking strategically about the different angles to a project and seeking the absolute best solution, no matter how many rounds of edits it may entail. A New Jersey native, he’s found a new home in the south, along with his wife, Erica, and twins Adler and Ainsley.
Alex has many talents, which is only fitting since she also goes by several different names. Just like she’ll answer to Alexandra, Alex and Zan around the office, she can also be called upon to bring her leadership, creative skill, and intuition to bear on everything from branding to digital and print design. For inspiration she turns to passion for exploring and travel. A graphic design major at University of Florida, her love for good clean design is only surpassed by her love for dogs, like Hank, her Plott Hound-Rottweiler mix.
David began his creative career as an aspiring actor and semi-successful stand-up comic. Since ‘aspiring’ and ‘semi-successful’ are not prefixes that make for a great career as a performer David sought out a line of work where he could excel while still being creative and in doing so became a copywriter. Over almost a decade of experience, David has written for print, web, tv, and social for brands on the local and global level, and everything in between. A graduate of Davidson College (and former mascot) David reserves his comedy routines for very patient co-workers and his Plott Hound mix, Jackson.
Madison joins REVERED fresh out of a Visual Communications major at the University of Delaware, where she was able to grow and gain wide range of skills as a Blue Hen. What drew her to design was the same thing that draws many wizards to magic— the idea of creating something out of nothing. And with a magician’s touch she works to make designs and patterns sing, through experimentation and trying new things. The two biggest tools in her inspiration toolbox are research and a solid playlist.
As Project and Account Coordinator, Christian handles client relationships, timelines, logistics, sourcing and anything else a project may demand. But tackling monumental organizational tasks is right in his wheelhouse. After graduating from NC State with a degree in sports management, he worked on such events as the Orange Bowl, Super Bowl, Masters, Final Four and Daytona 500. When he’s not at work, Christian fosters dogs with his fiancée, Olivia, watches The Office, and, of course, sports.
With more than 20 years of marketing experience, Shelly is a hands-on strategic and creative professional. Working closely with clients, she helps unearth critical insights, guide innovative thinking and ensure that all marketing efforts effectively work toward achieving objectives.
She has worked on both the agency side and the client side, giving her a balanced perspective and unique vision for driving results. With Shelly helping navigate the path forward, clients can expect exceptional communications that convey a clear, consistent and powerful message.
With more than 14+ years of production experience, John is an expert in all things design and Adobe related. He specializes in marketing collateral, retouching, printing, and packaging. His unique ability to take concepts to print enables clients to achieve their goals with the best possible finished pieces built efficiently and cost-effectively.
John has worked at major Design firms before becoming an independent production artist and photography retoucher. His previous clients include: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, Rachel Ray, Hedstrom, Mars, and Abbott Laboratories.
